Volunteers,
We are getting very close to our first fall flight on Oct. 16th, 2026 and we need volunteers and Ground Crew for this Flight.
Ground Crew: You will need to be available on Friday Oct 16th at 5:30 am and be able to assist a veteran getting onto the flight. You will also need to be available to return on Saturday at 9:15pm to assist your veteran off the plane. In both cases you will need to get a gate pass at the Southwest Airlines ticket counter and be able to push your veteran in a wheelchair through the airport. Please note you MUST be available both days.
Friday Morning Send Off Volunteers: We will need a few volunteers that can assist with serving breakfast and handing out snacks to the veterans or assisting with check in. We also may need one or two that can assist if needed to bring extra bags to the plane. You will also need to arrive at the Hobby Airport Delta/ JetBlue Check In counter at 5:30am.
Saturday Welcome Home: We welcome all volunteers and guardians that can make this event to join us to Welcome Home this Amazing group of Veterans!!
