Being a volunteer is different for everyone. The reasons we volunteer and our drive come from different places. Being a volunteer with Honor Flight Houston means joining a family of people who are local volunteers within our community. Our mission is to honor our veterans.

Participate in a Welcome Home

We are always looking for volunteers and there are many opportunities throughout the year. If you have never volunteered with us we encourage you to come to one of our Welcome Homes.

The departures floor of Hobby Airport. There is a seating area across from Delta ticket counters. HFH staff and volunteers will be there to help direct people and answer any questions.

Please, first check the flight (SWA # provided above) to make sure it is on time. Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled flight landing.

Bring a patriotic flag, homemade poster or just your best cheering spirit, but come prepared to give it your all for our returning heroes!
